A word from your teacher
Important pillars for him as a conductor: Let ego be independent of your musical choices, performances and collaborations. Everything that is intrinsically motivated succeeds better than on ego. Do not compare other conductors (and their work) too much with yourself; often you become insecure because you always see qualities with the other person that you would like to have yourself. On the other hand, be critical of your own development. Stay eager to learn about the different methods of creating music, and be inspired by your singers and colleagues.
