Personal piano elevation, expansion and mysticism

Prodromos Symeonidis is able to portray the most difficult music uniquely. He understands it perfectly, technically and musically incredibly perfect. To present the music intelligently and generously at the same time out of its logos-based gesture. His music piece, melodic or pretty is basically intended to convey feelings of personal elevation and expansion, mysticism, connection with the universe and the eternal. That’s one of the reasons why traditional structures are heard. His piano lessons are very rich in tone colour and articulation is sensitive. Careful but lyrical expressions. Harmony is a man-made invention, and music didn’t always have harmony anyway. Especially in plenty of monophonic early sacred music of the 15th/16th century, where we can touch from his classic performance.

In addition to his activities as a performer and ensemble leader, Prodromos Symeonidis also works as a composer and educator. Prodromos Symeonidis composed himself several solos and chamber music pieces performed in Europe. As well he was invited to give masterclasses, workshops or lectures in numerous institutions and Universities in Germany, in France, but also in USA and Asia.
