Singing Practice I

Singing in French Language

In this first chapter, Jeremy teaches you how to sing in French, one of the most difficult language to sing in.

You will discover techniques that must be applied such as the open throat, nasal sounds, phonetics symbols

Then, he performs a French song “Dirait-on” so that you can notice all the nuances.

Vowels and Consonents

In this second session, you will discover the main vowels and consonents, and will train by singing them.

Jeremy shows you how to do vocals as well.

Breathing

Here, you will learn how to control your breathing while singing. You will also see how to position your body.

Tone and Legato

In this last session, Jeremy makes you practice your vocals cords by practicing scales.

After that, you will see more in details the art of singing in a legato way (or smooth singing).

Discover the difference between vowels made with the tongue and those made with the lips.

Tones and Tunes

Here, first discover how to sing in minor scale and minor arpeggio.

Then, Jeremy gives you tips to sing in tune, especially if you are part of a choir.

After that, you’ll be explained the mechanisms of semi-tones and and tones. For example, if semitone are too large, and tones are too small, you’ll be singing out of tune.

In this session, you will learn to sing low and high notes.

Singing Sound

Jeremy teaches you different ways of singing. You will see how to sing loudly, softly, crescendo and diminuendo
