A renowned bluesman
Lucky Peterson is an American bluesman, organist, guitarist and singer. His father ran a blues club, the “Governor’s Inn”, where Lucky Peterson played with musicians such as Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy. Cradled by the blues from an early age, he first learned to play the organ, his favourite instrument, before learning the guitar.
At only 5 years old, he was spotted by Willie Dixon who encouraged him to become a Bluesman, like his father. He started his career as a musician very early, and had the opportunity to play with Etta James and Little Milton before going solo. His career has lasted over 50 years, during which he recorded numerous albums as well as performed all over the world.
