The singer of the band Sepultura

Derrick Green was born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He is the singer and composer of the Brazilian metal band Sepultura.

After 10 years of career, it is in 1997 and following the departure of Max Cavalera, that he integrates the group Sepultura. He was able to quickly integrate into this internationally recognized group, but above all he gradually brought his personality. With Sepultura, he toured all over the world, on the most beautiful stages and in the biggest metal festivals.

He contributed to the writing of 2 titles of the album Against, released in 1998. Since the album Nation, released in 2001, he has participated in the writing of all Sepultura’s albums: Revolusongs, Roorback, Dante XXI, A-Lex, Kairos, The Mediator Between Head and Hands Must Be the Heart, Machine Messiah, Quadra

Derrick Green has participated in different groups and projects: Outface, Música Diablo, Maximum Hedrum.
